Worley begins volunteering at OHPM. At that time, there were only 2 people at OHPM. OHPM was renting space from Boston Ave Methodist Church. They were partnering with CJAMM’s existing programs at St. Luke’s Redemption Church. Worley had his CDL license & volunteered to drive the bus to transfer ex-offenders from the state halfway house & the federal halfway house in Turley.

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections (DOC) is looking for volunteers to come inside the prisons to partner with the chaplains & teach pre-release classes to inmates. The DOC is most interested in a program called Inside Out Dads. Inmates who participate in this class will receive time off from their term. Stan Basler gets a $10,000 grant & spends it all on this curriculum. He cannot get volunteers to go inside the prisons to teach the class, so Worley Holmes volunteers, and the rest is history.
Concentrating on prisons in NE Oklahoma, Worley taught Inside Out Dads in John Lilly, Jess Dunn & Dick Conners. By teaching in different time slots, he expanded his teaching to include additional classes: Reintegration & Victim Impact Awareness. Between 2008 and 2015, Worley also served as a volunteer assistant chaplain for 7 years at Dick Conners.
Worley receives the Faith & Character Community Program award from Dick Conners.
Worley receives the Outstanding Board Member award from OHPM. Worley starts a Veterans Program at Jackie Brannon. He later starts Veterans Programs at Dick Conners & John Lilly.

COVID Hits America & OHPM cannot go into the prisons. OHPM has to reinvent itself. Post COVID, Worley continues to be a vital board member & a tireless advocate for veteran ex-offenders.
