Oklahoma Birth Equity Initiative

The Oklahoma Birth Equity Initiative equips families to have healthy births with dignity and reduce maternal health disparities. We envision an Oklahoma in which all people are centered and respected before, during and after pregnancy. Our Community-Based Doula Training Program is the only program of its kind in Oklahoma. It is designed to prepare qualified local applicants to serve their communities. Sessions include:

Practical doula skills:
Labor and delivery support techniques, Prenatal and postpartum health, Supporting lactation and infant feeding and more.
Community-Based Practice:
