Paul Oliver
Board Treasurer, Executive Board Member

A Bit About Me
Everybody has a story, and Paul Oliver has served on the Board of Directors for OHPM since 2014. During this time, his reason for serving has remained the same.
We are to love ex-offenders unconditionally, just like Jesus does, and meet them exactly at their most pressing point of need by providing:
Transitional Housing
Transitional Transportation
Transitional Employment
Paul is currently serving on the Executive Committee and as treasurer. He is a past board president.

Recently
Paul’s first project after joining the board was to establish the OHPM Scholarship program that thinks “outside of the box” to give ex-offenders the resources they need to get a job. This could be for fees, books, or school, but is just as likely to be used for a set of mechanics tools for on-the-job training, work boots, & a Carhartt coat & gloves. Such was the case for the first scholarship awarded in November of 2014. Over 7 years, between 2019 and 2025, OHPM awarded 338 scholarships.
Paul was in the planning stages of the Car Club Program, which provides a qualifying ex-offender with a low-interest loan for a reliable used car.
Paul has been badged & traveled with fellow board member Worley Holmes into the prisons in support of incarcerated Veterans. Whenever possible, Paul volunteers for the Angel Tree events & also travels with the children during their “Play Day” events as they visit their mothers & grandmothers in prison.
